ˇ°Office of Research and Development
The Office of Research and Development (R&D) is the core unit of the Hungkuang University, to promote research and development in the academic area. It is also in charge of the affairs of domestic and international academic exchange, the cooperation between industrial and academic areas, and related affairs.
In addition to assist the application for research grand from government and private organizations, the R&D department tries every effort to engage with local governments, schools, enterprises, and hospitals to find out more cooperation opportunities in all fields.
In the future, the Rˇ®D Division will continue integrate professional and research capacity on campus, to assist companies to develop new technologies, to improve manufacture processes, and to reduce pollution. The final goal is to create new opportunities of the substantial development for the industry. |
ˇ°Innovation Incubation Center
1. Handle all-round cultivation work for small and medium enterprise (SMEs).
2. Promote exchanges and industry-academia cooperation between SMEs or institutions stationed in the nearby areas and Hungkuang University.
3. Introduce government-related industry guidance resources.
4. Handle activities such as strategic alliances, inter-industry and cross-industry exchanges.
5. Implement and control the innovation and cultivation plan. |
ˇ°Biotechnology, Health and Innovation Research Center
Congruent with the mission of the university, the Biotechnology Health and Innovation Research Center promotes research, teaching, and service by:
1. Leading the research and education of professional technology related to people's livelihood and health.
2. Establishing partnerships between the university and external industries in the area of people's livelihood and health to strengthen academic efforts to improve health and quality of life.
3. Effectively transform information from biotechnology research into strategies to improve human health and quality of life.
4. Promote scientific inquiry to cultivate the next generation of practical scientific research leaders who can solve actual clinical or social health problems.
5. Establish evidence for education and practice through research to enrich the learning experience of students.
6. Strengthen the ability of teachers and students to develop and transform specific discipline and interprofessional knowledge. |
