HungKuang University off campus lodgings Survey
- In order to satisfy the lodging need of our students, we provide the lodgings which are safe, good and convenient. Therefore, we sign with cooperative landlords who can provide our students with quality lodgings.
- For the time being, there are 130 lodgings off campuswhich are accredited by our university, providing 6184 beds for our students to chose. We post the house for rent information. On the HungKuang University Internet and help our students find the suitable lodgings.
- Regarding most of our students living in the cooperative lodgings with our university, we select university dormitory cadres to help them deal with their problems.
- There are six large off campus lodging districts whereOur students live: Tunghai District, Jingjiang Village.
A District, Jingjiang Village B District. Every semester we sincerely ask our tutors to visit our students living off campus and make sure that their lodgings are safe.
- Handle the fleeing from fire practical drill and hold a fellowship party every year, making our students living off campus lodgings safe.
- Deal with students who come from low financial income family and subsidize their lodging fee in order to reduce their financial burden.
- Hold a landlord meeting, implement safety workshop and discuss about students’ related lodgings every year.
- When new students come to our campus and register, we provide our students house for rent information and ask qualified landlords to come to our campus and answer their lodging problems.

On-campus schoolgirl dormitory
1.There are altogether 320 beds in the dormitory, disposing the accommodation officer 1 person and 6 counseling staff, assisting the dormitory restoration and the entrance guard control correlated matters. Simultaneously, Section of student Life
Guidance is responsible for managing and counseling the lodging students.
2. Applicants who are freshman or sophomore, the handicapped, a
member of low-income family, overseas Taiwanese take priority to apply for the dormitory. (Application form)
3. The gate of the dormitory will be closed at 9:30 every night.
Students who can not come back to the dormitory on the appointed time should complete the sick leave.
4. The boarders must observe the rules of the dormitory, the coordinating life rules. In addition, they work and rest on
the schedule and keep the environment clean.
5. For maintaining the safety of students’ lodging, the dormitory holds regular fire prevention drill regularly, and ask all the
boarding students to participate in the drill.
6. Help students who come from poor respectable families and subsidize their lodging expenses.
（1）Qualifications: Low income family.
（2）There are two kinds of boarding expenses: One is exemption from the boarding expenses, the other is reduction in the boarding expenses.
